Premio Bandiera Verde Cia: trionfa l’agricoltura tipica e di qualità
L’azienda, quasi centenaria, produttrice nella piana di Sibari della liquirizia di Calabria Dop. Bastoncini, tisane e liquori “Elisir” che esaltano la qualità biologica certificata di una radice che nel territorio cresce, da sempre, in modo naturale ed è eccellenza richiestissima da erboristerie, farmacie e rivenditori dolciari di tutta Italia. Il vivaio specializzato nella coltivazione di ornamentali tipiche del Piemonte, dalle camelie alle ortensie, diventato anche la più grande piantagione in Europa continentale di tè con ben 20 mila piante. E ancora, la cantina per antonomasia del Conegliano Valdobbiadene, del Prosecco DOCG e del Treviso Doc, fondata nel 1930 da nonno Amadio e ora guidata dai nipoti Amedeo, Alberto e Moreno che hanno introdotto tecnologie moderne e green, dal fotovoltaico sul tetto al sistema di irrigazione con ala gocciolante per zero spreco idrico e fertirrigazioni di soccorso. Queste alcune delle realtà vincitrici di Bandiera Verde Agricoltura 2022, il Premio di Cia-Agricoltori Italiani ai nuovi campioni dell’agricoltura che festeggia il traguardo dei 20 anni dalla prima edizione. Oggi, a Roma, nella Sala Protomoteca del Campidoglio la cerimonia con la consegna dei riconoscimenti a 10 aziende agricole, scelte in base a specifiche categorie. Assegnati anche 2 premi a comuni rurali virtuosi, 6 extra-aziendali e 2 premi speciali.
La Calabria enogastronomica a Parma nel locale gourmand “Arte & Gusto”
Il 25 novembre 2022 alle ore 20:00 saranno protagonisti i vini della cantina “Termine Grosso” di Roccabernarda (KR) che in anteprima presenterà alcune sue nuove etichette. I sapori del territorio calabrese saranno interpretati dallo Chef e patron del locale Alfonso Francese.
Successo pieno al “Merano Wine Festival 2022” con 9.000 presenze
Più di 700 i produttori presenti tra Wine, Food – Spirits – Beer suddivisi in due sessioni espositive, nelle sale del Kurhaus per la sezione wine e nella promenade lungo il Passirio della GourmetArena per i prodotti culinaria. Oltre 330, inoltre, le etichette nella The Winehunter Area. Particolare spazio alla Georgia e ai vini georgiani, alle regioni Abruzzo e Campania, quali modeli di viticoltura sostenibilità in Italia e alla Bio&dynamica per quanto riguarda i vini naturali, biologici, biosimbiotici e PIWI. Mentre il Red Wave, il tappeto rosso di Corso Libertà, ha accolto degustazioni ed eventi del mondo del vino animando il cuore della cittadina meranese.
Il 31° Merano WineFestival all’insegna della sostenibilità
Da una storia che disegna le sue origini, a un importante summit sulla sostenibilità che si fa portavoce di uno dei temi attuali più urgenti: Merano WineFestival apre i battenti della 31^ edizione unendo passato, presente e futuro all’insegna dell’eccellenza tra radici, arte e – tema centrale di quest’anno – sostenibilità. La kermesse meranese, in programma dal 4 all’8 novembre, si conferma autorevole palcoscenico del panorama wine & food, con un programma ricco di novità e ospiti d’eccezione. Dagli opinion leader e stakeholders coinvolti nel summit “Respiro e grido della terra”, artisti e nomi illustri del mondo dello spettacolo che sostengono il mondo del vino, difendendone qualità e cultura in Italia e nel mondo. Insieme ai migliori prodotti vino e culinaria selezionati durante l’anno da The WineHunter che entrano in scena tra le sale del Kurhaus e la Gourmet Arena, oltre 700 in totale, suddivisi in due sessioni espositive. Trovano inoltre spazio 7 talks, 16 masterclass, showcooking, 2 presentazioni di libri e un “Red Wave”, il fuorisalone che anima Merano nelle giornate del festival, ancor più coinvolgente, per non dimenticare le oltre 330 etichette presenti nella The WineHunter Area.
Presentata la Guida ai vini buoni, puliti e giusti: Slow Wine 2023
«Raccontiamo l’Italia del vino grazie ai 200 collaboratori che ci permettono di mappare tutta la Penisola e soprattutto di scoprire nuove aziende in sintonia con la filosofia Slow Food: sono infatti 110 su 1957 le novità che abbiamo inserito in questa 13esima edizione. Grazie a 379 video accessibili con QR Code diamo la possibilità ai nostri lettori di provare l’esperienza di visita dei collaboratori. Filmati che testimoniano il tema principe di quest’anno: il cambiamento climatico e la siccità, cui i viticoltori hanno risposto mettendo in campo la propria esperienza in ordine sparso. Ma non è possibile affidare questa sfida così importante ai produttori, per questo vogliamo fare un appello alle istituzioni affinché sostengano la ricerca scientifica per trovare soluzioni e tecnologie su questi fronti. Tornando alla guida, oltre il 56% delle aziende sono bio a testimoniare non solo una grande consapevolezza dei vignaioli ma anche che il vino bio è buono e si può fare, una intuizione della prima ora della guida con un trend in crescita confermato in queste 13 edizioni. Una segnalazione curiosa è il numero dei Vini quotidiani, cioè quelle etichette di altissima qualità che hanno un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo: a causa dell’aumento dei costi lungo tutta la filiera infatti questi vini diventano sempre di meno – ha sottolineato Giancarlo Gariglio, curatore della guida Slow Wine e responsabile della Slow Wine Coalition –.Vorrei chiudere ringraziando Fabio Giavedoni, che fino all’anno scorso è stato mio fratello di guida, curando insieme a me il volume.
